My main field of research has been process intensification in chemical industries. I have worked with various chemical processes such as CO2 capture units, propane dehydrogenation to propylene, propylene to polypropylene and natural gas combined cycle power plants. I have utilized optimization techniques as well as process design methodologies to enhance performances of these chemical processes. One of the main fields of my research has been application of heat pumps on distillation systems for energy and costs savings.
